Office 2007 Load/Startup Issues in Vista

Every single time i open a word/excel/ppoint/publisher document in vista beta 2 using office 2007 beta 2, the windows installer comes up and says "please wait while windows configures microsoft word" and does that for almost a minute before the document comes up. It used to do that only the first time the program was used in windows xp, but in vista its doing it everytime. During the "configuration" process the desktop refreshes a couple of times, causing the icons to disappear then reppear.

Have you tried repairing Microsoft Office 2007? Open Control Panel > (set to "Classic View") > open "Programs" > Installed Programs > select Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 > click Change on the toolbar > click "Repair"

That is becuase you need to run the office app as an administrator ar least once. after doing so, you will no longer get that message

Right click on the shortcut, and select "Run as administrator" - you may be prompted for credentials, but yeh, after that you're OK.
